Welcome to Coastal Generation.

Born in Hermosa Beach, California, Coastal Generation was created with a much bigger world in mind. What started on one stretch of California coastline is shaped by the places we’ve been, the places we keep going back to, and the coastlines we have yet to discover. We wanted to build a brand that could carry pieces of those places with it while still feeling entirely its own.

Our inspiration comes from coastlines around the world. The sun washed beaches of California. The color and warmth of Panama. Long afternoons along the Mediterranean. Australia’s effortless approach to coastal style. Summers on the East Coast. Different places, different people, different ways of living, all connected by the water.

That is the world behind Coastal Generation.

We create pieces meant to become part of the life you are already living. The hat that gets better the more you wear it. The hoodie you throw on after sunset. The bikini that always makes it into your suitcase. The towel that follows you from one summer to the next.

And we are only getting started.

Coastal all year round is the idea behind everything we do. It means taking the best parts of coastal living with you, even when the ocean is nowhere in sight. Through changing seasons, new cities, last minute trips, long summers, and whatever comes next.

We are building Coastal Generation for this generation, but with the intention of creating something that lasts far beyond it. Something you live in, travel with, hold onto, and come back to year after year.
